Dear Top Ladies and Visitors to the TLOD Website:
I am delighted to greet you as the 12th National President of Top Ladies of Distinction Inc. I am so excited about our moving into the next chapter of TLOD. What a wonderful time to be part of this service organization. We will make our future better by living and giving today.
The National Theme: "TLOD Impacting our Future through Positive Interventions on the Lives of our Youth, our Community and our Legacy with Effective Volunteerism." Our goal is to move our programs and projects forward with an unprecedented vision of accomplishment. I am so proud of the transition team. The transition went smoothly and in the spirit of sisterhood.
Ladies our documents are now ready. The Governance has been reformatted. All Ladies who purchased Governances will be given a new one upon return of the old book. All Ladies inducted in 2010-2011 will be given new Governance upon return of the old book. All other Ladies may purchase Governance for $30 plus 4.50 shipping. Governances can be purchased from the Membership Services Team at Parliamen-Top and Area Conferences. Order forms will be on the web site and payments must be sent to Financial Secretary.
Congratulations to the 2009-2011 Five Star Chapters. We will continue the Five Star Award Program. The new Chapter Program Book will take less time to enter your activities and record your impact statements. The Resource Guide will help you channel your volunteer efforts into effective programs. Both documents will debut at Parliamen-Top and will be available on the web and through CD disc sent to each chapter. “Team Impact” will roll out the programs at the area conferences and clusters. Armed with our tools and determination, I have no doubt we will make an impact on our future.
